Leading wellbeing program
ENABLING LEADERS TO STRENGTHEN WELLBEING, RESILIENCE, AND SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE
Program overview
The Leading with Wellbeing Program is designed to strengthen the capability of leaders to support wellbeing, resilience, and sustainable performance within themselves and their teams. In increasingly demanding and fast-paced workplace environments, effective leadership requires more than operational performance alone. Leaders must also develop the awareness, behaviours, and strategies that enable individuals and teams to thrive both personally and professionally.
Grounded in practical leadership application, the program explores the interconnected dimensions of physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental wellbeing. Participants develop greater awareness of how wellbeing influences leadership effectiveness, engagement, communication, decision-making, and workplace culture. Leaders strengthen their understanding of the role they play in creating healthier, more supportive, and psychologically safe workplace environments.
SUPPORTING LEADERS TO FOSTER WELLBEING, CONNECTION, AND LONG-TERM PERFORMANCE
The program focuses on helping leaders recognise the impact of stress, workload, pressure, and workplace dynamics on individual and team wellbeing. Participants strengthen their capability to lead with empathy, emotional awareness, and intentionality while building practical strategies that support resilience, balance, sustainable performance, and positive workplace culture.
The learning experience is highly practical and directly connected to workplace application. Through facilitated discussion, reflective activities, peer learning, and applied leadership exercises, participants develop practical strategies to embed wellbeing into everyday leadership practice and foster healthier, more resilient, and high-performing teams.
PROGRAM delivery
The Leading with Wellbeing Program is delivered using the Australian Leadership Academy’s blended, experiential learning approach, combining self-paced prework, high-impact facilitated workshops, applied application, and reflective learning. This structured approach ensures participants arrive prepared, maximise in-session learning, and actively apply leadership capability within their own organisational context throughout the learning journey. Each stage is intentionally designed to progressively build capability while reinforcing practical workplace application and sustained leadership impact.
