Gateways Support Services is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children and adults with disabilities and developmental needs, as well as their families across western Victoria and parts of Melbourne.
Offering services such as therapy, early intervention, support coordination, housing, and community programs, Gateways focuses on empowering individuals to build skills, independence, and meaningful connections.
Known for its person-centred approach and strong community ties, Gateways is committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Gateways Support Services engaged the Australian Leadership Academy (ALA) to design and deliver a bespoke Leadership and High-Performing Team program for its Executive Leaders, Senior Managers, Coordinators and Team Leaders with a focus on strengthening collaboration, building trust and alignment around a shared team vision.
Central to ALA’s approach was its signature agenda-setting process, which empowered team members to surface their most significant adaptive challenges and shape the direction of the learning experience. This ensured the program addressed the real and immediate needs of the team, rather than following a fixed curriculum.
Through a mix of facilitated discussion and practical leadership tools, the program fostered deeper connections, enhanced team functionality, and supported a unified, forward-focused leadership culture. Leaders left the program with greater clarity, renewed commitment, and a collective strategy for leading with purpose and impact.
