PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Matthew Flinders Anglican College partnered with the Australian Leadership Academy (ALA) to deliver a tailored development program for its Business Delivery and Operations Team. The program was designed to strengthen leadership capability, foster collaboration, and support the team in navigating complex, adaptive challenges within a dynamic school environment.

Central to ALA’s approach was its unique agenda-setting process, which invited participants to identify their most significant adaptive challenges. This ensured the program was highly relevant, participant-driven, and aligned with real-time organisational needs.

The program focused on building competence and confidence in courageous conversations, equipping team members with tools to engage in open, constructive dialogue around performance, change, and collaboration.

Through practical learning, coaching, and peer engagement, participants developed their leadership practice, deepened trust within the team, and developed strategies to work with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
