PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Tamworth Regional Council engaged the Australian Leadership Academy (ALA) to deliver a bespoke Leading with High-Performance Conversations Program for its executives, managers, coordinators, and team leaders.
Delivered face-to-face, the program focused on building leadership capability through effective performance conversations, practical application, and alignment with organisational values.
Core themes included navigating adaptive challenges, regulating workplace tension during high-stakes conversations, and fostering alignment, accountability, and engagement. ALA’s signature agenda-setting process enabled leaders to identify their most pressing leadership challenges and apply adaptive leadership frameworks to address them.
The program strengthened team connection and recognised individual and collective expertise. Leaders concluded with clear commitments to embed learning into practice, using structured feedback, reflection, and coaching techniques to drive improved performance and culture.
